1: "All CBD is the same"
False. There are a few different forms of CBD that are available on the market. The most common forms are full-spectrum, broad-spectrum, and isolate. Full Spectrum Hemp Oil (FSHO) contains all of the hemp plant’s nutrients and medicinal values as it is the most complete and unprocessed form of extract. Broad Spectrum Hemp Oil is distillate that undergoes an additional process to remove individual cannabinoids such as THC. DRHC uses Full Spectrum Hemp Oil(FHSO) in as many products as possible, as our finished products always contain less than the federally regulated legal amount of THC: less than 0.3% Isolate is the purest form of CBD, meaning that the CBD is isolated from all other parts of the hemp plant, leaving behind the terpenes, cannabinoids, and oils that work in sync with CBD to give the full medicinal qualities of the plant. In conclusion, Full Spectrum CBD Oil gives you most medicinal benefits and is the most complete and unprocessed form of hemp oil. Make sure you do your research and know what type of CBD you are buying when purchasing products "with CBD."
2: "You will notice the effects of CBD immediately"
False. Like many other holistic medicines, CBD is not going to cure you within minutes. However, if taken correctly, you can speed up the process! CBD taken by tincture directly onto the tongue will work faster than CBD taken in gummy or edible form. While you may feel relief from stress and anxiety shortly after, the long term effects such as anti-inflammation could take weeks before you start seeing any significant changes. CBD is not a one-size-fits-all remedy so its important to take the right products and find out what works for you. 3: "CBD will get you high because it is derived from cannabis"
False. CBD will not get you high. While full spectrum CBD oil does contain some THC, there are regulations as to how much, and we have to closely follow those guidelines and undergo lots of testing on our products to be sure they pass. By USDA regulation, CBD products must contain < 0.3% THC. This amount of THC (the psychoactive cannabinoid) is not nearly enough to get you high or feeling any sort of discomfort. Once again, make sure you know what products you are buying and if they are safe for you.
